It’s been a long time coming, but we finally did our first skype school visit!  With a little arm twisting from Louisiana School Librarian of the year, Elizabeth Kahn, we celebrated Teen Tech Week with the students of Patrick F. Taylor Academy in New Orleans. The students made it great fun and we really enjoyed ourselves.  Best advice from seasoned author/skypers was to relax, have plenty of props to hand, and introduce your pets! (Sadly, our two cats went into hiding for the duration.) But we were able to share the manuscript in progress for Book 3, some new illustrations, and a view of the snow in Vermont.

So how exactly can have an authors visit by Skype? Any way must have been a fun experience. And how is your third book comming along?

We would love to Skype with you! How could we arrange that?
School finishes 6-13 and our book group (reading Middleworld) meets on Fridays at 12:15.

Can you give us your skype username so that we can add you in skype?
